Nepal cricket team returns from SL

Nepali National cricket team has returned back to home after their 18 days tour of Sri Lanka where they played two 3-days matches and one off T20 International.

 

Earlier Nepal was scheduled to play two three-day matches (against Sri Lanka Development Squad), three Twenty20 Internationals and one 50-over match against Hong Kong in the Sri Lanka tour. The tour began with a three-day game from November 9-11.

 

Nepal played their 1st First Class cricket after a period of nine years after ICC handed them their three days match as a first class game. Nepal had played their first class cricket back in the year 2005 against UAE at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

 

Nepal played two First class cricket where they lost the opening match and the second one ended in draw. 

 

Because of persistent rainfall Nepal’s three T20 International and one 50 over match which was given as List A match against Hong Kong was cancelled but finished their tour playing one off T20 International against Hong Kong where they lost the match by two wickets.
