Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been out of Sydney test match against India as he could not recover from hamstring injury.
Marsh suffered from hamsting injury during bowling a delivery on first inning in the test match held at the Gabba. Marsh travelled with the team for Melbourne test and was expected to be fit for Sydney test which will start from January 6.
According to Australian team’s Physio Alex Kountouris scan report of Marsh confirm that he has a setback in his rehab for hamstring injury and is set to miss fourth test match of the series against India in Sydney.
Australia had included Joe Burns for Boxing test match against India in place of Marsh. As Marsh is now sure to miss the fourth test match Burns might once again might be included in the team.
Marsh is expected to return to the team during triangular series against England and India. He is also likely to be part of Australia’s World Cup Squad.
