Misbah to quit after World Cup

Pakistan Captain Misbah ul Haq has informed that he will retire from One Day Internationals and T20 International after the World Cup 2015. He also informed that he will continue his test carrier


40 years old Misbah has played 153 ODIs for Pakistan and has scored four thousands six hundred and sixty nine runs with an average of 42.83 and has 37 half centuries in his name. Similarly he has played 39 T20I and has 788 runs with an average of 37.52.


While Pakistan Cricket Board’s Chairman Shaharyar Khan speaking with Reuters told that the Board has accepted Misbah’s decision to quit ODIs and T20Is. He also thanked Misbah for being inspiration.


Earlier their T20 International Captain Saheed Afridi has also announced his retirement from ODIs some days back. Afridi told that he will continue T20 until T20 World Cup 2016 which will be held in India.
