Misbah hit by hamstring injury

Pakistan Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has been ruled out of remaining One Day International against New Zealand because of hamstring injury.

 

Misbah suffered from hamstring injury while fielding in third over of New Zealand inning while tourist were chasing target of 253 runs in the match held at Sharjah Cricket Ground. Misbah immediately left the field and did not return back. Pakistan lost the match by four wickets.

 

All rounder Boom Boom Shahid Afridi will lead Pakistan team for remaining three ODIs in absence of Mishab while his replacement in the team is yet to be decided. Pakistan Cricket Board has not decided whether he will be staying with the team or returning back to Pakistan for his further treatment.

 

The third ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be held at Sharjah on Sunday.
