Manmaiju Cricket Team and Sri Lovely Nava Yuva Cricket Club entered the quarter-finals of the Martyr Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament in the match held at Tundikhel on Tuesday.
Manmaiju crushed SANN International College by 88 runs in a 17-over-a-side match.
Manmaiju made 173-5 after man-of-the-match Bijaya Gautam hammered 51 off 34 and Indra Kamal Manandhar smashed 41 off 22.
SANN were all out making just 85 runs in 17 overs. Bijaya and Rabin Joshi took three wickets each for Manmaiju.
In the second match of the day Sri Lovely hammered Kathmandu Challenger by 167 runs.
Sri Lovely piled a mammoth score of 224 with loss of six wickets. Dilip Shah was the highest run scorer for Sri Lovley who made 46 runs.
Man-of-the-match Dilip came to bowl in the next inning and then took three wickets as Challenger were all out in 19.2 overs making just 57 runs.
