As Ambati Rayudu scored his maiden One Day International century, India won the second ODI match against Sri Lanka by six wickets with 33 balls remaining in the match.
Rayudu who came to bat at number three scored not out 121 runs and helped his team chase the target of 275 runs losing their four wickets. Man of the match Rayudu faced 118 balls with 10 fours and four six.
Apart from Rayudu Shikhar Dhawan also scored 79 runs from 80 balls while Captain Virat Kohli made 49 runs from 44 balls missing yet another half century.
Earlier as Captain Angelo Mathews scored an unbeaten 92 runs from 101 balls and wicket keeper batsman Kumar Sangakkara made 61 runs Sri Lanka could manage to make 274 runs in 50 overs losing their eight wickets.
India leads the five match ODI series by 2-0 with third match to be held at Hyderabad on November 9.
