As Virat Kohli cracked 20th century of his carrier India won the fourth One Day Internationals against tourist West Indies in the match held at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharmasla by a margin of 59 runs.
India was asked to bat first as West Indies won the toss. India made a huge score of 330 runs in 50 overs losing six wickets. Virat Kohli who came to bat at number three was the highest run scorer who made 127 runs. Kohli who reached his 20th ODI century played 114 balls and scored 14 fours and three six.
Apart from Kohli, opener Ajinkya Rahane also made 68 runs while in-form batsman Suresh Raina contributed 58 balls 71 runs.
Chasing the huge target of 331 runs West Indies were all out in 48.1 overs making just 271 runs. Century from Marlon Samuels also could not help the tourists to chase the target. Samuels who made second century of the series made 112 runs and was the last batsman to get out. Apart from him Andre Russell made a quick fire 46 from 23 balls.
This will end the series between India and West Indies as West Indies are leaving back for their home after the dispute regarding their payment was not solved.
