Khurram Khan, captain of UAE cricket team has become the oldest player to score century in One Day International. Kham got this feat after hitting not out 132 runs against Afghanistan during the second ODI at ICC Academy in Dubai..
Khan who is the only batsman to score century who is above 40 years old scored his century at the age of 43 years and 162 days.
Earlier this record was in the name of former captain and veteran left handed batsman of Sri Lanka, Sanath Jayasuriya. Jayasuriya had scored 107 against India at Dambulla in 2009 when he was 39 years old and 212 days.
With the help of Khurram’s century UAE has also won the second ODI by 6 wickets and lead four match series by 2-0.
