Kathmandu Cricket Training Center (KCTC) and Classic College International (CCI) advanced to the quarter final of Martyrs Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament in the match held at Tundikhel on Wednesday.
Kathmandu cricket training centre beat Koteshwor Cricket Club by a margin of 104 runs.
Batting first Kathmandu made a total of 158 runs with the loss of seven wickets. Sudhir Maharjan was the highest run scorer who made a fluent 53 runs.
Koteshwor chasing the target of 159 runs were bowled out for 53 runs in 11.4 overs.
Nabin Yadav who was later judged as the man of the match award damaged Koteshwor’s innings with an economical figure of 5-4 in just 2.4 overs.
In the second match of the day Classic College International beat Seldom Three Star by three wickets.
Seldom made 130 runs with the loss of nine wickets and Classic College chased the total in 18.5 overs losing seven wickets.
