Kantipur TV, a private owned television has been given broadcasting rights of telecasting Nepal’s international matches at home.
A working committee meeting of the Cricket Association of Nepal on Tuesday decided to give the hosting rights to KTV.
According to a close source to cricketingnepal.com KTV will pay Rs 1.8 million per year for the rights. The source also confirmed that the two parties have agreed for two years and will soon put to the paper.
State-run Nepal Television earlier had the broadcasting rights of Nepali cricket’s domestic and home international matches.
Nepal will be hosting several Division 1 teams for the next two years for the ICC World Cricket League Championship.
