Indian Embassy helps deaf cricket

The Embassy of India situated at Kathmandu has helped Kathmandu Cricket Association of the Deaf with a purse of Nepalese rupees three lakhs during a program organized at the premises of the Indian Embassy.

The Nepali deaf team is currently in Himachal Pradesh, India to participate in the Deaf Asia Cup. India Ambassador of Nepal Ranjit Rae handed the cheque to representative of the deaf association.
The Deaf Asia Cup is being organized at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala and participated by the host nation India including Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka kicked off from November 19 and come to an end on November 26.
