India to host Sri Lanka for five ODIs as WI left their tour

Sri Lankan cricket Board has agreed to tour India to play five One Day International series starting from November 1 to 15. Sri Lanka agreed to play the ODI series as West Indies abandoned their current tour of India because of payment structure dispute between the players, West Indies Cricket Board and West Indies Players Association.


West Indies who were in India to play five ODIs, one-off T20 internationals and three matches test series are leaving back for West Indies after playing their fourth ODI at Dharmashala on Friday where they lost the match by 59 runs and lost the series by 2-1 as their third ODI was canceled because of cyclone.


According to BCCI and Sri Lanka cricket Board they have come to an agreement to play five ODIs series starting from November 1 to 15. But the final itinerary is still to be finalized and is expected to be finalized by October 21. BCCI will finalize about the tour consulting with the tour, program and fixture committee.
