Host Thames in the final, Prime secure semi-finale

Thames International College has reached the final of Thames Inter College (BIM CUP) 2016 cricket tournament defeating Shanker Dev Campus held at Army Ground, Bhaktapur, 
Organizer Thames defended a low scoring target of 105 runs by 60 runs. Thames won the toss and elected to bat first. They were able to make just 104 runs in 20 overs losing their eight wickets. Rochak Shrestha who played 20 ball and made 16 runs was the highest run scorer for Thames.
As Ayush Kumar Das took five wickets in 2.1 overs conceding just 11 runs Shanker Dev were all out for 44 runs in 12.1 overs. Das was adjudged man of the match for his incredible bowling spell.
In the next match held at the same venue Prime College won their match against Nagarjuna College by 43 runs to reach the semi-finale of the tournament. 
Prime made 124 runs losing their seven wickets in 20 overs after batting first winning the toss. Sachin Dhakal was the highest run scorer for Prime who made 31 runs in 38 balls with one four.
Chasing the target of 125 runs Nagarjuna were all out for 81 runs in 15 overs.Prime’s win was secured by man of the match Sumiz Tuladhar who took five wickets in four overs conceding 22 runs.
