Former Australian all rounder Brad Hodge has been called in the Australian T20 team for the first time after a spam of six years.
Australia surprisingly called Hodge in the squad for the second T20 against England to be held in Melbourne on Friday.
It is learnt that the 39 years old all rounder who is one of the most experienced player in this format will be tested and might get a chance to play in upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh on March.
It is yet to be confirmed whether Hodge will be in playing eleven or not and also it is not sure about his place in the third T20 in Sydney on Sunday.
Hodge has last played his international cricket from Australia in May 2008 when Australia toured West Indies while he had played his international T20 in February 1 2008 against India at MCG.
