Himalayan and Kathmandu reach semi

Himalaya Cricket Training Centre A and Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre (KCTC) reached the semi final of the Martyrs Memorial T20 Cricket Championship at Kathmandu on Friday. 


In the first match held at Tundikhel Himalaya defeated South West Cricket Centre by just 15 runs.


Electing to bat first Himalaya made a total of 140 runs with the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. Ishan Baniya of Himalaya was the highest run scorer who made 33 runs.


Chasing the target of 141 runs South West could manage to make only 125 runs loosing their eight wickets in 20 overs.


In the second and last match of the day Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre won the match against Classic College by four wickets.


Batting first in the match Classic were all out making just 96 runs in 19.5 overs.


Chasing the target of 97 runs Katmandu Cricket won the match in 18.2 overs loosing their six wickets.
