Himalaya Cricket Academy (HCA) and Gairigaun Cricke Club entered the semi-finals of the first Hyolmo Twenty20 Cup Cricket Tournament on Sunday.
In the quarter-final match, HCA crushed Iradown Cricket Club by 104 runs. Jeevan Lamsal’s solid 70 runs spurred HCA to 150-5 in 20 overs. Iradown, in reply, were bundled out for just 46 runs in 12 overs.
In the first quarter-final of the day, Gairigaun hammered Sijenche Youth Group by 95 runs. Batting first, Gairigaun amassed a tournament-high 192-5 riding on half centuries from Arif Ahmed and Sora. Sinjenche could only manage 97-8 in 20 overs.
Arif made 53 and Sora collected 51 runs for Gairigaun.
