Gyanendra and Anil shares highest partnership

Vice-captain
and middle order batsman Gyanendra Malla shares record of highest partnership
for Nepal in ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers with opening batsman Anil Mandal
during the match against USA on Friday. Malla and Mandal shared 78 runs
partnership from 81 balls.

 

With the help
of 78 runs partnership from Malla and Mandal, Nepal won the match by six
wickets. Malla who came to bat at number after Sagar Pun was out on fifth ball
of Nepal’s innings shared partnership with Mandal who was out on 14.2 overs making
29 runs from 42 balls.

 

Malla made 52
runs from 43 balls and completed his maiden half century to help Nepal win the
match.

 

Malla also
shared the highest runs partnership with Subash Khakurel during 2013 edition of
T20 World Cup Qualifiers against Kenya. Malla and Khakurel shared 77 runs from
56 balls.
