A 15-member team of Great Himalaya Cricket Academy on Saturday left for India for a friendly cricket series against AP Cricket Academy of Gurgaon, New Delhi.
The series is scheduled for October 3-10. GHCA team will play four 50-over matches and two Twenty20 games. The Twenty20 Series will be played under floodlights, informed GHCA on Saturday.
GHCA players will also have a special training session with former age group cricket Maninder Singh, who is also a Leve II coach from ECB.
“We believe this tour will help our young players learn a lot from quality opponents and good quality wickets and ground,” said GHCA in a press release.
National Sports Council Head Coach Jagat Tamatta bade farewell to the team during a programme at Academy premises in Hattiban.
The GHCA team includes Ayush Kumar Jha, Arjan Simkhada, Saditya Banjara, Bikesh Shrestha, Parikshit Dhakal, Anurodh Panta, Ishan Shrestha, Krish Karki, Sandesh Pangeni, Chandan Ram, Prwanjay KC, Gaurav Gajurel and Saugat Dangal.
Sameer Raj Pandey is the coach and Suraj KC is the manager.
