Fourth ODI ruled out by rain between India and Australia

The fourth One Day International match between India and Australia played at Ranchi has been called off because of rain.


Rain started disturbing the match as India chasing the target of 296 runs was on 27 without loss of wicket in 4.1 overs.


As there was rain for more than two and half hour and there was not any sign of stopping then umpires decided to call off the match.


In the match India won the toss and asked tourist to bat first.


Australia was in big trouble as they were on just 47 runs with the loss of four wickets in 14.3 overs.


Glenn Maxwell and George Bailey added 153 runs for fifth wicket which helped Australia to reach 295 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs.


Maxwell and Bailey both missed their century as Maxwell was out on 92 runs while Captain Bailey missed his century by just two runs.


Fifth match of the tournament will be played at Cuttak on 26th October with Australia leading the series 2-1.
