Sourav Ganguly, former Captain of India said India need experienced spinners like Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha in the team they want to win the test matches in the foreign land.
He further described saying that the main reason to loose test matches in South Africa and New Zealand was because of lack of experienced spin bowlers not because of lack of fast bowlers.
“I do not think that pace bowlers are the reason of defeat in test matches in South Africa and New Zealand. It is because of inexperienced spin bowlers,” said the former captain Ganguly.
“I think captain Dhoni should now think about his spin department. His spinner Ravindra Jadeja do not have much more variation in his bowling and is not much more experienced to help his team win the team. Dhoni should now include Harbhajan and Ojha in the test team if India wants to win test matches overseas. Dhoni has good records in overseas matches,” described Ganguly.
Jadeja only took three wickets in two test matches in New Zealand bowling just 89 overs with an average of 85.66.
