Faulkner ruled out, Marsh still in doubt

Australian all rounder James Faulkner has been ruled out from Australian team for their tour against South Africa because of knee injury. While Shaun Marsh and Jackson Bird are still in doubt and will be in inspection.




Another all rounder Moises Henriques will replace Faulkner. Henriques has played only three test matches during the tour of India early last year.




Faulkner who got an injury during the fifth and final ODI match against England in Adelaide will go for an arthroscopic surgery.




Another injured player Shaun Marsh is still in doubt so will stay at home for further treatment as he strained his calf during the last ODI against England and if get fit earlier will fly alone to South Africa.




The first test of three test match series between South Africa and Australia will start from February 12.
