Although rain has washed out the first two matches of the Twenty20 Series between Nepal and Hong Kong, there is still possibility of both teams playing an entire series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.

The series now heads to a reserve day on Friday and if rain doesn’t return, the matches can be played on Friday, Saturday and Mondaycancelling the 50-over game that has been scheduled for November 24.
Both teams were playing their first ever bilateral Twenty20 International Series after the ICC World Twenty20 held in Bangladesh in March this year.
No chance of shifting venue
Although a shift in venue has been talked much, the possibility of the condition is very slim due to unavailability of other Twenty20 International grounds. Since Kurunegala is not a Twenty20 International venue, it cannot host an international Twenty20 match under the International Cricket Council.
