Darren Sammy suffers from hamstring

West Indies Twenty 20 captain Darren Sammy has been ruled out from two T20 matches against New Zealand because of hamstring injury.


Sammy suffered from hamstring injury while he was running around a damp outfield in Queenstown before the start of the third ODI against New Zealand.


Dwayne Bravo, One Day International (ODI) captain will lead West Indies in the absence of Darren Sammy in T20 matches against New Zealand.


Likewise their experienced batsman Chirs Gayle has also been suffered form hamstring injury and getting rest to get recovery from the injury.


New Zealand has also announced their team for the two T20 matches against West Indies that will be played on January 11 and 15.
