Former Nepali national cricket player Dipesh Khatri has been banned for three years by Kaski District Cricket Association (KDCA) on Wednesday.
Khatri who had represented Nepal in 2004 ICC U19 World Cup held in Bangladesh was banned for speaking to media against KDCA selection in District Cricket League which was held from November 29 to December 6.
According to the letter submitted by President of KDVA Deven Prajoo to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) they confirmed about the ban to Khatri. The letter also state that Khatri refused to play for Pokhara during the regional selection tournament for Region number eight Pokhara.
Khatri who is also the president of Machhapuchhre Cricket Club (MCC) was in the Nepali national cricket team who played ACC T20 Cup in Kuwait in 2007.
