Cook likely to leave ODI captaincy

England captain Alastair Cook has hinted of considering as captain of his team for One Day International after loosing the third ODI match against Australia at Sydney on Suday.


Cook has been the captain of England since 2011. He later on lead England in Test matches also after Andrew Strauss retired from test matches. He is now thinking of leaving his job of captain in ODI only.


Under his captaincy England reached the final of the Champions Trophy for the first time in June. But they lost to India in the final.


If Cook will leave as the captain of England he will decide about it after the fifth and final ODI against Australia. England are now 3-0 down against home side Australia.


Twenty-twenty captain Stuart Broad is likely to be the captain of England in ODI too if Cook resigns as ODI captain.
