China Women cricket team has won their match against South Korea Women team by eight wickets with thirty balls remaining in the match during a match of Asian Games Women’s Cricket Competition at Incheon Cricket Ground, Incheon, South Korea on Saturday.
Chasing the target of 50 runs China finished the match in 15 overs losing their two wickets. Zhang Mei was the highest runs scorer for the winner who made 17 runs in 38 balls while Yu Miao made not out 11 runs.
Earlier South Korea was bundled in just 49 runs as they won the toss and choose to bat first. South Korean batting lineup was collapsed as Xiang Ruan took five wickets three overs and conceding just nine runs.
Wicket keeper and batswomen Jina Lee was the highest run scorer for Korea who scored 15 runs. Apart from Lee none of the batswomen was able to cross the double digit.
