Three times champion Chennai Super Kings are taking on Indian Premier League inaugural edition winners Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday.
The match begins at 7:45 NST at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Chennai are playing their second match at the Emirates after sweeping aside Mumbai Indians in the curtain-raiser.
Rajasthan, depleted by the absence of England duo Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes, are playing their first match.
Both teams have played 21 games so far with Chennai winning 14 out of them. Rajasthan and Chennai had played the final of first ever IPL back in 2008 where Rajasthan did the unexpected with a three-wicket victory in the last ball thriller.
