The Cricket Assocation of Nepal (CAN) has decided to hold their election on Kartik 20-21 (November 6 and 7) at Bhairahawa. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Friday and Saturday decided about their new election after four months.
“We have decided to hold our new election after four months and the date has also been fixed. Bhairahawa will be the city where we will be organizing our election and date is Kartik 20 and 21,” informed Uttam Karmacharya, acting general secretary during press meet organized after their AGM on Saturday.
The AGM has also decided to provide district association yearly budget of Rs 50 thousands to run office. Similarly they have also decided to continue the tenure of Pubudu Dassanayake until December as coach of Nepali national cricket team.
The AGM of CAN was held after a period of two years.
