English Batting all-rounder Tim Bresnan has been called into to the England team for the Ashes series on Monday. Bresnan will be available for the second test which will start against Australia at Adelaide this week.
Bresnan was ruled out of the final test of Ashes series earlier this year because of stress fracture.
Apart from Stuart Broad, England’s fast bowling attack disappointed the first test played at Brisbane which Australia won by 381 runs.
The 28 years old bowler who helped England win the Ashes series in Australia 3-1 in 2010/11 took 11 wickets in the final two tests at an average of 19.54.
Bresnen will replace Chris Tremlett for the Adelaide test, which starts on Thursday.
