Bangladesh to Champions Trophy

Bangladesh has booked their ticket for Champions Trophy 2017
after defeating South Africa by seven wickets in the second One Day
International held at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday. This
is Bangladesh’s second defeat over South Africa in eight years.

 

Bangladesh who white washed three match ODI series against
Pakistan and defeated India by 2-1 in three match series is now ranked seventh
position in ICC ODI Ranking. According to ICC the top eight team till 30th
September 2015 will play Champions Trophy.

 

Now Pakistan and West Indies will fight for the eighth
position to make their way to Champions Trophy. Bangladesh has 94 rating points
while Pakistan and West Indies do not has that much games to lead Bangladesh
till the cutoff date.
