Bilateral T20 cricket series between Nepali National women team and women team of Indian Railway’s Club has been hit by three days strike called by UCPN (Maoist) led 30-party Alliance.
According to the Chief Executive Office 0f Cricket Association of Nepal, Bhawana Ghimire team of women Railways was supposed to come to Nepal to play bilateral T20 series in TU Cricket Ground. But because of the Nepal Bandh CAN postponed the event which was to be started from April 3.
Ghimire informed that they were coming to Nepal to play four T20 matches with Nepali Women team with an aim to provide match practice to women team as they do not have international matches at present time and it is not sure when ACC will decide schedule. UCPN (Maoist) led 30-party alliance is organizing three days Nepal Bandh starting from Tuesday.
CEO Ghimire further described that both Railways and CAN has agreed to send their teams for bilateral series so we will soon make another schedule. We will also tour to Railways team before start of their season next year.
