Oct 31, 2019 | CN Staff |

Nepal have been drawn alongside Test giants India and Bangladesh in the ACC Emerging Teams Cup scheduled for November 14-23 in Bangladesh.

The Emerging Teams Cup is participated in by U-23 teams from the Asian Test playing sides, while the Associate nations usually field their full strength squad. Nepal will kick off their Group 'B' campaign with the match against giants India on the opening day at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan 3.

Following a rest day, they meet fellow Associate rivals Hong Kong at BKSP 4 on November 16. The group stage will then wrap up with the match against Bangladesh in BKSP 3.

Only the top two teams from each pool will make it to the semi-finals. Group 'A' consists of Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Oman. Nepal are scheduled to play against Marylebone Cricket Club in a multiple-format series beginning from November 5 in Kathmandu.
