Chitwan Rhinos sealed a spot in the final as Kat Queens Kathmandu and Biratnagar Titans scheduled an Eliminator clash in the Women's Champions League on Sunday.

On a day when four teams had their fate sealed, Rhinos made short work of Biratnagar Titans with a 53-run victory to remain unbeaten throughout the tournament. A strong foundation laid by openers Kajol Shrestha and Kanchan Shrestha steered Rhinos to their fourth consecutive victory in the tournament and the final.

Electing to bat first, a 69-run opening wicket stand led Rhinos to 122-8 in 20 overs. Kabita Gautam then bowled effectively taking 3-5 from three overs bundling out Titans for just 69 in 17.5 overs.

Jyoti Pandey and Dolly Bhatta were the only batswomen to make runs in double figures for Titans with 21 runs each. Other batswomen just caved in.

Suman Khatiwada also took 2-23 for Rhinos who had undone Titans with sharp fielding and accurate line and length. Earlier, it was Kajol and Kanchan who piled misery on Titans with a solid opening wicket stand.

Kajol, the half century scorer a day before, was consistent while making 36 off 46 with two boundaries. Kanchan struck six boundaries in her 41-ball 34. Skipper Indu Barma (17) and Suman (10) were other batswomen to score runs in double digits for Rhinos after Titans bowler fought back hard with the ball.

Earlier in the first match, Kat Queens confirmed their place in the playoffs following an eight-wicket victory over tournament minnows Lalitpur Falcons. Kat Queens restricted Falcons to 105-5 in 20 overs before Rubina's 52-ball 59 led them to 106-2 in 17.1 overs.

Rashmi Chaulagain (nine) and Rubina opened with a 34-run partnership for the first wicket. Rubina then won the game for Kat Queens following a 48-run stand for the second wicket Roma Thapa.

Player-of-the-match Rubina struck nine fours and a six, while Roma contributed 23-ball 18 to the total. She hit eight boundaries.
