Sandeep Lamichhane bought by Barabados Tridents in Caribbean Premier League

After a decent performance in the Indian Premier League, Nepal's Sandeep Lamichhane has continued to lure franchises across the globe as the leg spinner was bought by Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League on Wednesday.
Tridents bought Sandeep in the fifth round of the CPL draft which took place in London. 

A total of 536 players are enlisted in the draft-list and the players in the fifth round will get up to US $70,000 for the upcoming season. 

Alongwith Sandeep, Ben Laughlin, Zaheer Khan, Rassie Van Der Dussen, Andre Fletcher, and Denesh Ramdin are bought by other five different teams on this round. Sandeep's Tridents had already purchased Alex Hales, Jason Holder, Asif Ali, Wahab Riaz on previous four rounds. 

Beside Sandeep, other three Nepal's players are also part of this draft which includes pace bowling spearhead Sompal Kami, Rohit Kumar Paudel and Dipendra Singh Airee.

Sandeep had already participated in the league last year when he played for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. CPL is scheduled to start on September 4.
