Rhodes and Maron team up for Attariya

South African legendary batsman Jonty Rhodes has been named as the mentor of CYC Attariya for upcoming edition of Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL). 

The franchise has also announced Ryan Maron as it's head coach.

The 49-year-old Rhodes is considered as one of the best fielders of all time for his quick-running, ground fielding, catching and throwing from his most common position of backward point. 

He had served as fielding coach of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians.

Dipendra Singh Airee-led Attariya also announced Ryan Maron as their head coach. Maron – Rhodes’ countryman – has played professionally for Western Province in South Africa. 

The 43-year-old came Nepal along with Rhodes for a 10-day high-performance camp organised by Nepal Cricket School last month. He had worked with Afghanistan Cricket Team as fielding specialist staff.

DPL will commence from February 9 at he Falpa Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.
