Nepal-UAE Bilateral Series from January 25

Nepal are all set to play three one-dayers and as many Twenty20 Internationals away to United Arab Emirates in a bilateral series that begins from January 25.

As per the information received by cricketingnepal, Nepal will fly to UAE on January 22 and will undergo two-day practice sessions before the series. Nepal will play their first one-dayer on January 25 followed by the second the next day. The two sides will meet again on January 28 in the third and final One Day International.

After a two-day, the format will shift to Twenty20  with the first set for January 31 followed by the next two on February 1 and 3 respectively.

Although Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) continues to remain under International Cricket Council (ICC) suspension, national cricket team itself has coordinated with world cricket governing body for the series.

Nepal had earned One Day International (ODI) status early this year on March, after they finished eighth in ICC World Cup Qualifier 2018 in Zimbabwe. They have so far played three ODIs beginning with a two-match series in Netherlands in August. The next ODI match was also against UAE which they played in ACC Asia Cup Qualifier 2018.
