Dec 10, 2018 | CN Staff |

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) skipper Rohan Mustafa is set to join the Kathmandu Kings XI for their Everest Premier League campaign on Tuesday.

Mustafa is playing for the Sompal Kami-led Kings XI which kicked off the EPL on a high note easing to a six-wicket victory over Chitwan Tigers on Monday. Mustafa had missed Monday's match against Tigers as he was participating in the ACC Emerging Teams Cup in Sri Lanka.

He will now be available to join Kings for their second match against Lalitpur Patriots on Wednesday. Mustafa has plenty of experience of Nepal franchise league having played in the Dhangadhi Premier League and last month's Pokhara Premier League -- on both ocassions he played for Sompal.

The 30 year-old left-handed batting all-rounder has represented UAE in 26 one-dayers with 641 runs and 28 wickets. Mustafa was adjudged the player-of-the-series in the DPL after his performance guided Team Chauraha Dhangadhi to the title.

He played for Butwal Blasters in the PPL. This is going to be Mustafa's third experience of playing in Nepali franchise league and first time in Kathmandu.
