Ravi Inder Singh gave a perfect reply to Richard Levi's quickfire half century with a scintillating century as Sharad Vesawkar's Bhairahawa Gladiators stunned Pokhara Rhinos by four wickets in a run glut at the TU Stadium.

After two back-to-back low-scoring matches, Levi set the TU Stadium ablaze with brutal smashing of ball leading Rhinos to a tournmanent-high 215-5. Gladiators, who included Dutch international Ryan ten Doeschate, recovered from early wobble and Ravi Inder turned the table for them with an unbeaten 125 from 60 balls.

Gladiators reached 216-6 in 19.4 overs. Gladiators are now the team with highest team total in domestic Twenty20 franchise overhauling Rhinos' first innings total of 215-5.

Pradeep Airee gave Gladiators a swift start hitting spinner Sushan Bhari Shrestha for 10 runs in the first over but Bikram Sob put them in back foot. He removed another opener Hari Shankar Sah (duck) in the first ball of the second over and dismissed Pradeep with a caught behind.

Ten Doeschate tried to up the ante with an 11-ball 16 hitting two fours and a six while sharing 32 runs for the third wicket with Ravi Inder Singh before falling to Paul Coughlin. Sharad Vesawkar (six) lost his wicket cheaply but Ravi Inder and Aarif Sheikh kept Gladiators in the chase with an 89-run fifth wicket stand. Aarif made a 13-ball 23 with two sixes.

Gladiators lost Aarif and Rohit Kumar Paudel (four) in a space of 11 runs but Ravi Inder continued to play his shots and together with Puneet Mehra sailed the team's ship. Man-of-the-match Ravi Inder, who completed his century in just 47 deliveries, struck 10 sixes and eight boundaries in his flawless innings.

Sushan Bhari Shrestha, Bikram Sob and Paul Couglin took two wickets each for Rhinos.

The day was capped by Levi's excellent timing with the ball against Bhairahawa bowlers against whom he collected runs at will. He began the day by hitting Bhuwan Karki for a six and a four in the first over that fetched Rhinos 16 runs.

Avinash Bohora then was hit for 13 runs in the second with Levi smacking him for a six and a four. The best over came in the third after Levi struck Krishna Karki for 18 runs that included two sixes and a boundary.

Skipper Kyle Coetzer played a second fiddle to Levi who completed his half century in just 23 balls and notched up a century partnership with Coetzer in just eight overs. Gladiators finally breathed sigh of relief when Krishna removed Levi after the batsman made 79 off 36 hitting seven sixes and as many boundaries.

Gladiators, however, were left a lot of work to do considering a long batting line up. After Levi's departure, Sunil Dhamala and Coetzer went on to add 74 runs for the second wicket to ensure Rhinos cross 200 run mark. Dhamala made 38 from 23 balls with two fours and a six.

Coetzer was out next making 47 off 37 balls hitting four boundaries and two sixes. Paul Coughlin made a 10-ball 20 not out with a six and a four. Avinash, Puneet Mehra and Ten Doeschate picked up a wicket each for Gladiators.
