Century claim Corporate Super Sixes title

Century Bank clinched the title of the Century Bank Corporate Super Sixes 2018 beating NIC Asia Bank by three wickets in the final on Saturday.

Electing to bat first at the TU grounds, NIC Asia posted a respective total of 76 runs in five overs without losing a wicket. Sandeep Karki smashed a 12 ball-31 for NIC Asia with five fours and a six. 

Sanjog Sharma ably supported Subash with a quickfire 24 off eight balls. Century dragged the match till the end and chased down the target in the last ball of the match losing three wicket.

Man of the match Vishnu Tiwari chipped in an unbeaten 19 from seven balls and Subash Sharma top scored for them with 21 runs. Deepen Karki picked up two wickets for NIC Asia. 

Century had beaten Embassy of India by five wickets in the semi-final in their run-up to the final, while NIC Asia had seen off Subisu by nine runs. 

The title triumph now means Century Bank will get free entry for next edition of the tournament as defending champions. Suraj Timalsina of Century was named the player-of-the-series and he got Rs 10,000 cash prize from Samsara Remit along with 32 inch's LED TV from Hisence and medical package from Chirayu hospital. 

Rojans Pradhan (batsman) of Subisu, Sumit Shrestha (bowler) of NIC Asia were other notable individual winners of the tournament.
