Tigers sign up County cricketer Scott

Chitwan Tigers have signed up English County cricketer George Scott as their third foreign player for the upcoming Everest Premier League (EPL).

Dipendra Singh Airee's Tigers have now completed the required  number of foreign recruitment as per EPL regulations. Right-handed batsman, who bowls right-arm medium pace occasionally, plays for Middlesex County for the last three years. 

The 23-year-old Scott has played 5 First-Class matches, two List A and 15 Twenty matches. He has scored 207 runs in Twenty20 career with two wickets to his name. Earlier, Tigers had signed up Ireland skipper and opening batsman Paul Stirling and another English County cricketer John Simpson.

Tigers had released Subash Khakurel, Yogendra Singh Karki and Sunam Gautam from their squad and replaced them with teen trio Sagar Dhakal, Aadil Khan and Ishan Pandey.

Everest Premier League will commence from December 8 at the TU cricket ground with six city-based franchise fighting it out to take the title home.
