U19 cricketer Bhim Sharki signs deal with Red Rock Sports

Talented Nepali U-19 middle order batsman Bhim Sharki on Friday signed kit sponsorship deal with Indian cricket manufacturing company Red Rock Sports.

As per the deal, Red Rock will provide cricket kits to Sharki for a span of three years. National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka and former South African cricket Jonty Rhodes among others were present for the signing ceremony.

Teenage batsman Bhim recently represented Nepal in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup held in Dhaka in September. He scored two half centuries becoming the highest run getter for Butwal Blasters in the inaugural season of Pokhara Premier League last month. 
Bhim is now representing Chitwan Tigers in the upcoming Everest Premier League which begins from December 8 at the TU Stadium. 

Manish Shakalkar, a former Ranji cricketer from Haryana, initiated the deal. Red Rock Sports owners Subhash Rajput and Shekhar Kaushik signed the deal. 

Based in Meerut, Red Rock Sports was established in 2007. The company specialises in manufacturing custom made cricket bats for professional cricketers with a dignified history of serving players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni and Robin Uthappa to name a few.

“I am very happy. This is my first sponsorship. It has boosted me to do well further. I am thankful for Red Rock and Manish (Shakalkar) dai (brother) for deeming me capable of getting such a deal,” Bhim said during the programme.
