Dipendra Singh Airee gets first national team call-up, Mehboob back

Young all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee earned his first national team call-up as veteran all-rounder Mehboob Alam also returned for Nepal's ICC World Cricket League Championship matches against Kenya.

Nepal are taking on Kenya in their fifth round matches of WCLC at home on March 11 and 13. While Dipendra, the standout performer for Nepal in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka, was called up for the
first time, Mehboob is returning into the national fold after WCLC matches against Papua New Guinea in November, 2015.

Also in the squad are Aarif Sheikh, Sunil Dhamala and Sandeep Lamichhane. Skipper Paras Khadka will lead at the TU grounds captaining a side that also includes Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Basant Regmi, Sompal Kami, Sagar Pun, Binod Bhandari and Karan KC.

Rajesh Pulami Magar, Avinash Karn, Bhuwan Karki and Dilip Nath were kept reserves. Aasif Sheikh, who had accompanied the nationl team for the recent tour of India in absence of Paras, was not considered for the 14+4 member squad.
