Sandeep was very much emotionally attached with his niece, his sister's
daughter. But tragedy struck in
his life due to the untimely demise of his niece, whose date of birth
was 25. As he got the opportunity to break into the national fold, he
decided to give a tribute to his niece by wearing the jersey number
according to her birth date. Sandeep must have been earned a lot of
blessing from his deceased niece as the leggie has made a long way into
global sport playing for Michael Clarke's Western Suburbs in the
Australian Grade Cricket.
