At the North Sydney grounds, Sandeep took 3-33 from 10 overs keeping a maiden as the hosts were bundled out for 172 all out. Western Suburbs reached 177-6 to file a convincing six-wicket victory.

Sandeep was playing his third match for the Western Suburbs and first with the U-21 team of the Sydney-based club. He previously played for the senior side of the Wests, also knows as Magpies, impressing in the debut game against Mosman where he took 1-17 from eight overs though remained wicket-less in his second match against Randwick Petersham.
