Sandeep modest in his second game in Australia

Nepal's Sandeep Lamichhane has given a modest display against Randwick Petersham while playing for Western Suburbs at the Petersham Oval on Saturday


Wests went on to lose the game by 102 runs. Petersham made 278-9 in 50 overs before bundling out Wests for 176 in 43.1 overs. Sandeep was unbeaten on four as West were skittled out with 41 balls remaining in the game. 

Sandeep has attracted massive media attention in Australia. After playing the first match against Mosman, skipper Michael Clarke had praised Sandeep expecting more from the Nepali leg spinner in Australia.

Clarke, who scored 99 not out against Mosman, was dismissed for six runs on Saturday. Watch what Clarke had to say about Sandeep and his bowling performance.
