Indian duo in Golden's international recruits

Kathmandu Goldens brought in two Indian cricketers for the RUSLAN Dhangadhi Premier League(DPL), a premier Twenty20 cricket tournament, to be held at the SP grounds in Dhangadhi from March 31 -April 13.

Jaykishan kolsawala of Gujrat and Sunny Patel are two of the Indian recruits announced by Goldens. Both have experience of playing in the Ranji Trophy. Kolsawala is a right handed wicketkeeper batsman and has nine first class, four List A and two Twenty20s to his name while Patel has played thirteen first class, seventeen list A matches and is a right handed batsman.

The tournament regulations oblige every team to include two international recruits and a local player from Dhangadhi in their squad.

Both Kolsawala and Patel had played Everest Premier League (EPL) held in TU Cricket Ground on last December. They both played for Lalitpur Patriots.

A total of six city based teams -- CYC Attariya, Kathmandu Goldens,Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, Rupandehi Challengers, Biratnagar Kings, Mahendranagar United- will be competing in the second edition of DPL.

The winners will receive a cash purse of Rs.2.5 million -- the biggest amount so far given to the champions in domestic cricket.
