Sagarmatha Cement Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) trophy was unveiled on Saturday as the most-awaited domestic Twenty20 competition officially opens from Sunday.

A combined team of Nepal XI will play against Dhangadhi XI in a charity game on Sunday before the main competition begins on Monday. Dhangadhi Cricket Academy Director and organizer Subash Bahadur Shahi unveiled the trophy amongst a programme on Saturday

The 20 percent of the ticket collection from Sunday's charity match will go to former coach Arjun Khadka's children's education, while the remaining will be separate for the Dream Fapla project.

Gyanendra-led Attariya will take on Regmi's Kathmandu Goldens in the first match of the tournament on Monday, while Sharad's Kings will lock horns with Paras's Chauraha in the second game of the day.
