Whatmore begins High Performance Camp

Dav Whatmore, the 1996 World Cup winning coach for Sri Lanka, has begun the High Performance Camp for the national cricketers on Thursday.


Whatmore, who has been brought to Nepal by Bat & Ball Foundation, is training 32 Nepali cricketers in the two-week Camp. The 32 players include national team cricketers and regional players who were picked up by the Cricket Players Association of Nepal.

Whatmore said he will be giving his best during the camp so that his mentoring can make some impact in the team. Whatmore who conducted a two-day coaching clinic for Nepali coaches on Tuesday and Thursday will training players till February 5..
