Sarwan To retire from International cricket

36 years old former West Indies captain Ramnaresh Sarwan is announcing retirement from International cricket from Thursday.


Sarwan who has not played for West Indies since 2013 Champions Trophy thought of ending his international carrier after he has not been in team for long time.


Sarwan played 87 test matches for West Indies where in his 154 innings he scored 5,842 runs with 15 centuries and 31 half centuries.  He has average of 40.01 in test matches.


Likewise Sarwan has 5804 runs in his 169 innings he played for West Indies in One Day International matches with an average of 42.67. Sarwan made five centuries and 38 half centuries in 181 ODIs.


Sarwan also had participated in 18 T20 International matches where he scored 298 runs with an average of 22.92 and two half centuries.
